Applied Learning Centre

At Applied Learning Centre, A.L.C, we strive to be the leader in the education of Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths (S.T.E.M) in Singapore. A.L.C consists of a team of passionate educators that have been involved in tuition and enrichment since 2000.

We believe that S.T.E.M will be the next revolution in the education landscape representing a paradigm shift from traditional learning to a more experiential and practical orientation to prepare our children with the prerequisites for the future, namely creativity and innovation.

On top of the popular lessons like coding, robotics or lego, we aim to offer a complete spectrum incorporating the latest technology in areas such as internet of things, Artificial intelligence and virtual reality. We have programs that originate from Singapore Science Centre and the US Computer Science Teachers Association syllabus, (US-CSTA) to ensure that we offer lesson that are in line with the latest technology in algorithms and pedagogy.

STEM is an interdisciplinary and applied approach that brings about a cohesive learning paradigm based on real-world applications. In Singapore, we can see that STEM education is getting more popular with kids, educators and parents alike.

STEM activities provide a practical approach through hands-on lessons for the student, thus make learning fun and interesting.

At ALC students will learn robotics, electrical, design, and coding skills while working with cutting-edge technology like Artificial Intelligence, Virtual Reality, Drones, Arduinos and Minecraft.
